A Bit About Me
I’ve dogsledded toward the North Pole, co-developed one of the first VoIP switches, reviewed every sushi restaurant in Manhattan (in 1994, miso soup and unagi only), and founded San Francisco’s first urban beekeeping shop. I studied cognitive neuroscience and sympolic systems, and once painted and sang in a band that was (briefly) big in Japan.
I co-founded the Coven Film Festival, serve on the boards of The Roxie, KWMR, and SF Bee-Cause, and support Arion Books, the EFF, and the Long Now Foundation.
Humanist Celebrant
As a certified Humanist Celebrant and Lay Leader, I perform memorials, unifications, and coming-of-age ceremonies for individuals and families across the Bay Area. You can find me in the Humanist Society directory, or email me to inquire.
